These easy entry steps have a battery box built right in that accommodates a group 31 truck battery. They have provisions to cleanly and neatly route your battery cables to the starter and eliminate under-platform cables. The side frames are built from 3/16 steel making them very sturdy. The battery box base is made from 11 gauge steel with 5 drain/ventilation holes. The lid is made from 11 gauge steel and includes latches along with 3M non-slip tape. The main base plate is single piece 3/8 steel providing a very rigid assembly. The entire main unit comes solid welded and powder coated.
